Michael Misa could be the top pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, and now, it appears as though he has his preferred destination in mind as he looks to land in the perfect situation in the NHL.

The 2025 NHL Draft is one of the more intriguing ones in NHL history, as there are plenty of talented players in the draft, but on the high end, there aren't expected to be many franchise altering players in this one.

However, for teams in the lottery, there could be quality to be found, with Michael Misa of the Saginaw Spirit expected to be one of the only sure-fire hits at the forward position.

As for where he'll go, there's a chance he could slide in favour of James Hagens and Matthew Schaefer, but there's also a chance he could go No. 1 overall. So where does Misa himself want to end up?

In a recent interview at the 2025 NHL Draft Combine, Misa's good friend Malcolm Spence of the Erie Otters answered that exact question, and his answer shouldn't be a surprise.

'My roommate, Michael Misa, is hoping to go there'

When asked about his interactions with the San Jose Sharks, Spence made it clear that Misa wanted to be drafted by them, and with many seeing him as a late first-round draft pick, the Sharks could be targeting him and Misa together in what would be a fantastic first round.

Ultimately, many have mocked Misa to go No. 2 overall to the Sharks before now, and with the talented Saginaw Spirit star expressing interest in joining Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith, it's more likely than not the way things play out.
