In back-to-back seasons with the Red Wings in 2017-18 and 2018-19, Mantha notched a career-high 48 points. Mantha has also picked up six points through 14 appearances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
A standout at the junior level, Mantha spent part of four seasons with the QMJHL’s Val-d’Or Foreurs from 2010-14. In his final season, Mantha was recognized as the CHL’s Player of the Year after he posted 120 points counting 57 goals and 63 assists in only 57 games. In all, through his four seasons with the Foreurs, Mantha totaled 129 goals and 131 assists for 260 points in 189 career contests.

Mantha joins a Penguins squad that finished the 2024-25 season with a 34-36-12 record and 11 points back of a playoff position in the Eastern Conference.
