Seattle Kraken Extend Jordan Eberle

The Seattle Kraken have re-signed forward Joran Eberle to a two-year extension worth $4.75 million per year, which includes a full no-trade clause. Prior to the extension, Eberle was among the few names in Seattle who could have been dealt before today’s 3 p.m. EST trade deadline. Eberle has spent the past three seasons as an alternate captain for the Kraken, who have not had a captain in the team’s history. The 33-year-old forward is in his 14th season in the NHL, where he’s put up 296 goals and 399 assists for 695 points in 998 career games, and is expected to play in his 1,000th game on Tuesday Night in Seattle vs. Vegas Golden Knights. The Saskatchewan Native has previously played for the Edmonton Oilers, New York Islanders , and Seattle Kraken.
