
The Detroit Red Wings picked up their fourth win in their last five games. They beat the Flames 4-3. The Red Wings did suffer a loss ans they finished the game without defenseman Simon Edvinsson as he left the game with a lower-body injury. With the win the Red Wings did take back first place in the Atlantic Division

Edvinsson was a plus-one tonight. He entered the game having played in 27 games recording nine points on three goals and six assists. Hopefully, it’s not a long-term injury as Edvinsson is key to the Red Wings especially on their current road trip.

The Red Wings drafted Edvinsson sixth overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He made his debut on March 18th against the Colorado Avalanche. He records his first point which was also his first goal on in his third career game. In 130 career games, he has 44 points on 13 goals and 31 assists. He was a plus-ten with four game-winning goals, 232 blocked shots, and 157 total hits.
