We were treated to a legendary hockey game Saturday night between Canada and the United States, live from the Bell Centre, for the 4 Nations Face-Off

It started off with a bang, featuring three fights in less than nine seconds of play, and two of those three battles, of course, involved the Tkachuk brothers.

We mentioned previously what led to these events, but that's not all.

A source near the ice has revealed what the Tkachuk brothers shouted on the ice during these fights, and it was reported by the excellent journalist from The Athletic , Michael Russo.

Exclusive details on what happened at the Bell Centre involving Brady and Matthew Tkachuk

Check out Russo's report.

On the scraps, according to somebody at ice level, Matthew Tkachuk asked Brandon Hagel to fight.

After the fight, Brady Tkachuk yelled to Sam Bennett, "We're going next."

Bennett was on the bench, so he came onto the ice for the faceoff to accept the challenge.

And JT Miller was going to fight anybody who dropped the gloves with him because his gloves were off so far in advance.

The Tkachuk brothers were also mic'd up in the penalty box, and their responses to each other are priceless:

"I got him good," said Brady Tkachuk.

Matthew Tkachuk followed up with "Yeah you did. How was mine, good?"

Brady responded, "unbelievable."

What a game, to say the least!

And let's really hope we get a second chapter of this saga in the grand final of the 4 Nations Face-Off.
