St. Louis Blues Place Three on Waivers

The St. Louis Blues picked up their first win of the preseason with a 1-0 victory over the Blackhawks. They placed three on waivers today: forwards Jack Finley, Oskar Sundqvist, and Nathan Walker, with the purpose of sending them to the Springfield Thunderbirds in the AHL.

Finley appeared in the first preseason game, where he didn’t register a point and was even in plus/minus. Walker and Sundqvist suited up for the second game. Neither recorded a point, and both finished even in plus/minus. All three suited up last night and all finished even in plus/minus and didn’t record a point.

Sundqvist appeared in 52 games for the Blues last season, recording 17 points on five goals and 12 assists. He was a -18. Walker appeared in 46 games for St. Louis, recording 11 points on four goals and seven assists; he was a minus-nine. Finley appeared in 22 games for the Blues, recording two assists and was even in plus/minus. He also played in 22 games for the Lightning, recording three points on two goals and an assist; he was a plus-two. In three games for Syracuse in the AHL, he had a goal and two assists; he was a plus-one.
