2023 first-round pick Otto Stenberg received the call-up to the NHL last week and has already made an impact through three games. The 20-year-old has yet to score, but he has recorded two assists, one primary and one secondary. However, Stenberg’s impact has gone beyond the scoresheet.
He has not shied away from getting involved physically, consistently engaging in battles and putting his body on the line. Both of his assists came Saturday against the Florida Panthers, helping lead the Blues to a dominant 6–2 victory.
He has gotten many minutes on the penalty kill, and the coaches do not hesitate to put him in key situations.
I like Otto Stenberg … a lot. #stlblues

Before his NHL call-up, Stenberg appeared in 21 AHL games this season, recording three goals and eight points.
2025 sixth-round pick Love Harenstam is representing Sweden at the World Junior Championship, and the team faced Canada twice in pre-tournament exhibition play. Harenstam did not dress for the first matchup, which Canada won 2–1. In the second game, he got the start and made 21 saves on 23 shots, helping Sweden secure a 4–2 victory.
Canada’s first goal came off a shot directed toward the front of the net that was deflected to a backdoor attacker. Harenstam attempted to slide across but couldn’t arrive in time. The second goal resulted from a 2-on-0 rush, with a backdoor pass leaving him little chance to make the save. Overall, it was an impressive showing on the world stage and a clear indication that Harenstam can compete against top-level talent.
2020 third-round pick Dylan Peterson scored twice for the Springfield Thunderbirds in the AHL, leading the team to a 3–1 victory over the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday.
Peterson’s first goal came late in the second period after he received a pass in the left circle that slipped past the defense, leaving him alone in front. He settled the puck and lifted a shot just under the crossbar to tie the game at 1–1. His second goal was an empty-netter that sealed the 3–1 win.

Peterson now has four goals and 10 points in 17 games this season as he continues to adjust to pro hockey after spending four years at Boston University.
2021 seventh-round pick Ivan Vorobyov scored his first KHL goal of the season on Saturday, and it was a memorable one. He received a pass while entering the zone and, as he reached the faceoff dot, toe-dragged around a defender before finishing on his backhand to make it 2–1 late in the third period. The goal stood as the game-winner for Spartak Moskva in a victory over SKA St. Petersburg.

At 23 years old, Vorobyov has spent most of the season in the VHL, Russia’s second-tier professional league. However, after putting up strong numbers there, he has earned more opportunities to prove himself at the KHL level.
2025 fifth-round pick Mikhail Fydorov recorded a goal and an assist in the KHL on Wednesday, helping Metallurg Magnitogorsk earn a 6–1 victory.
Fydorov opened the scoring on the power play, setting up for a one-timer from the right circle and ripping a far-side shot into the left corner. He later added a strong assist when he again appeared poised for a one-timer, only to instead fire a hard pass to a teammate backdoor, who tapped it in to make it 4–0.
