The Canadian men’s hockey team was the favorite to win the gold medal at the 2026 Olympics, but Team Czechia almost prevented the giants of the sport from medaling entirely.
But Nick Suzuki tied the game at 3 for Canada with minutes left in the third period and Mitch Marner scored just 1:22 into overtime to keep Canada alive in Milan. The goal was Marner’s first and fifth point of the Olympics, but with Sidney Crosby leaving the game with an apparent leg injury in the second period, it might need to be a sign of more to come for Team Canada’s hopes for gold.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Marner is one of just 24 active NHL players with a 100-point season in their career. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
