When the Minnesota Wild begin their 2025-26 campaign, they’ll do so with the (at least for now) highest-paid player in NHL history. In the final days of the preseason, Minnesota and Kirill Kaprizov agreed to a historic eight-year, $136-million contract.
The 28 year old Kaprizov has been one of the most exciting players in the NHL since winning the Calder Trophy for the NHL’s rookie of the year in 2020-21. He’s scored at least 40 goals in the three full seasons he’s played in the NHL, but played in just 41 games last season while dealing with lower-body injury.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. There are 23 active NHL players with multiple 40-goal seasons in their career. How many of them can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
