The 'NHL active hat trick leaders' quiz

The Dallas Stars are one of 16 NHL teams making their return to the ice after a nearly-three week break for the Olympics, but they’ll be doing it without one of their best players. Mikko Rantanen, who represented Finland and left Milan with six points (two goals and four assists) along with a bronze medal, will reportedly miss at least a couple of weeks with the lower body injury he picked up in the quarterfinal. 

With 25 games remaining on Dallas’ regular season schedule, Rantanen has already secured his ninth 20-goal season and is eighth in the NHL in points with 69. The Stars are currently third in the Central Division and bring a six-game winning streak into their clash with the Seattle Kraken. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stars fans will hope that Rantanen is able to return sooner rather than later, as he has the potential to take over games on his own with 10 hat tricks in his 11-year career. With that being said, can you name the active NHL players with the most hat tricks?
