The 'NHL Selke Trophy winners' quiz

The Florida Panthers are hoping to take a page out of their captain’s book and go back-to-back. Ahead of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final rematch of last year’s clash between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers, Florida captain Aleksander Barkov was named the winner of the Frank J. Selke Award for best defensive forward. Barkov won the award for the second time in his career in 2024 and the Panthers followed it up by lifting the Stanley Cup. After dropping their first two games against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs the Panthers have been on an absolute tear, going 8-2 over their last 10 games and scoring at least five goals seven times to send the Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes packing.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Barkov became the sixth player since the Selke Trophy was first awarded in 1978 to win it at least three times. With that being said, how many of the Selke Trophy winners can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
