The 'Playoff power play goal leaders by team' quiz

Sebastian Aho has been quiet for an otherwise scorching-hot Carolina Hurricanes squad in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

But after a strong Game 3 that he finished off with a strong screen on goaltender Jakub Dobes on Andrei Svechnikov’s game-winner, he opened the scoring in Game 4 for Carolina on a Power Play for his first goal in eight games. Carolina scored two more goals over the next 2+ minutes to take a 3-0 lead and put the Canadiens in a chokehold for the rest of the contest.

Despite pleas from the restless Montreal fans at the Bell Centre to “shoot the puck,” the Canadiens didn’t force a save from Carolina goaltender Freddy Andersen until 17:05 had elapsed in the final period and were out-shot 43-18 on the night. After winning Game 1 6-2 with 22 shots in Raleigh, Montreal has mustered just 43 shots combined in Games 2-4.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. The Hurricanes are 11-1 in the playoffs despite Aho scoring just five points before his 11th-career playoff power play goal in Game 4. With that being said, can you name the players with the most Stanley Cup Playoff power play goals by NHL franchise?

Good luck!
