
The Toronto Maple Leafs have added to their goalie room, bringing in two-time Stanley Cup Champion Sergei Bobrovsky. The deal for Bobrovsky is for three years, carrying a $7 million AAV. The 37-year-old netminder is coming off a season in which he appeared in 52 games for Florida, going 27-23-1. He had a 3.07 goals-against average, an .877 save percentage, and four shutouts.

Bobrovsky concluded his 16th NHL season. He has appeared in 806 games, going 456-266-58 with a .912 save percentage, a 2.61 goals-against average, and 53 shutouts. He’s won two Vezina Trophies. The first came in 2012-13 with Columbus, where he went 21-11-6 with a 2.00 goals-against average, a .932 save percentage, and four shutouts. The other came in 2016-17, also with Columbus, where he went 41-17-5 with a .931 save percentage, a 2.06 goals-against average, and seven shutouts. In 117 playoff games, he’s 61-50-0 with a .907 save percentage, a 2.71 goals-against average, and six shutouts. Bobrovsky, in the Panthers’ first Cup run, went 16-8-0 with a 2.32 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage, and two shutouts. In the second Cup run, he went 16-7-0 with a .914 save percentage, a 2.20 goals-against average, and three shutouts.
