Troubling story for Matvei Michkov in Dubai

The longer this goes on, the more we begin to realize just how polarizing a hockey player Matvei Michkov really is.

A member of the Philadelphia Flyers since 2023, the Russian never ceases to be the talk of the town, be it for his talent on the ice or for the negative rumors we used to hear about him. In fact, the Canadiens preferred David Reinbacher to him in the 2023 draft.

In short, even though he possesses sharp skills, it’s clear that he scared a lot of people off back then.

The youngster has been the talk of the town since Tuesday, when he was involved in a road accident while on vacation in Dubai.

According to information circulated by journalist Alexey Shevchenko, the car was rented in his name, but he was not behind the wheel at the time of the accident.

The Flyers organization is aware of what happened in Dubai.

The same journalist also mentioned the possibility of the involvement of alcohol and prostitutes in the story, as well as an administrative problem on Michkov’s side, when he apparently left the country without certain important documents…

It’s worth noting that his lawyer preached that his client was a “victim”. Who’s right?
