The first one is scheduled for Friday, September 12th, at 4:00 p.m. Flames winger Blake Coleman will be at Adrenaline Source for Sports in Northland at that time, as part of his new partnership with Kidsport. For each point he scores, Adrenaline will donate $100 to Kidsport. For each shorthanded goal he scores, they will donate $500. For each individual award he wins, they will donate $ 1,000.
Fans have a chance to meet him, get his autograph or get a photo with him. There will also be a chance to win a Warrior hockey stick.
On Sunday, September 14th, Dustin Wolf will be at Team Town Sports Market Mall between 1 pm and 2:30 pm to meet fans and take some photos. Fresh off signing his new seven-year deal, this is a chance to meet the Flames’ goalie for the present and the future, and a key cornerstone piece of this team going forward.
Wolf finished last year as a runner-up for the Calder Trophy as the best rookie in the league, and will be looking to take another step forward this season.
The Flames’ rookies hit the ice on Friday in Edmonton for the first leg of the Next Gen Showcase. They will play the return leg at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Sunday afternoon. Puck drops on the regular season on October 8th in Edmonton when the Flames head up the QEII to face Connor McDavid and the Oilers.
