Unacceptable and Embarrassing Incident Involving Justin Barron and Nick Suzuki in Yesterday's Game

Young defenseman Justin Barron is unfortunately not a favorite among Montreal Canadiens fans.

An incident last night against the Columbus Blue Jackets won't help his case.. and we're not talking about this defensive mistake:

We're talking about the moment he made an extremely dangerous pass to Nick Suzuki, who was then leveled with a hard hit.

An unacceptable scene involving Justin Barron and Nick Suzuki.

In addition to making a dangerous pass to Nick Suzuki, a pass that forced the captain to take a hard hit, what happened next made things worse.

But no, Barron did absolutely nothing to defend Nick Suzuki afterward.

Fans were quick to criticize this incident, and these images represent exactly what Canadiens fans no longer want to see.

Justin Barron, 23 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed defenseman.

The Colorado Avalanche's first-round pick in 2020 (25th overall) has 1 point in 11 games this season, despite his offensive abilities supposedly being his strength.

In his NHL career, he has 31 points in 105 games.

Do you think Kent Hughes should finally take action with Justin Barron, either via trade or by placing him on NHL waivers?

It really feels like Logan Mailloux would currently deserve a spot in Martin St-Louis' lineup more than Barron.

In case you missed it, Blue Jackets' head coach Dean Evason called out the referees, claiming they missed a crucial call in overtime that led to Suzuki's game-winning goal.
