The Utah Mammoth went 3-2 on a five-game road trip and is now 4-2. Now, they return home to host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Here's everything you need to know about Utah's next game:
Who: Utah Mammoth (4-2-0) vs Toronto Maple Leafs (3-2-1)
Where: ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+.
When: Oct. 13, 7:00 p.m. MT
William Nylander has been the best player thus far for the Leafs, so keeping him away from the puck will be huge for Utah.
Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has been great so far this season, but Utah simply needs to deliver a lot of shots on goal to put an ample amount of pressure on Toronto.
Utah also needs a bigger offensive presence from guys like Logan Cooley and Vincent Trocheck to truly get rolling. While the Mammoth have gotten off to a nice start, seeing them string together a few wins would be a nice sight.
Finally, goalies Sebastian Cossa and Karel Vejmelka will need to be a big part of win - whoever starts.
Record Tracker (3-1)
The Maple Leafs will have a great chance in this one after visiting the star studded Colorado Avalanche and coming away with a 6-3.
Simply put, they have played in every game so far this season. The Leafs will probably be in this game as well.
However, Utah still feels like it hasn't gotten the team rolling, despite the 6-0 win. With some rest and with Utah returning home, Utah gets the 5-4 win with a lot of goal scoring from both sides.
