The Vancouver Canucks announced that the team has signed free agent forward Anri Ravinskis to a two-year, entry-level contract worth $1.75 million.
The Vancouver Canucks are pleased to announce that General Manager Patrik Allvin has signed forward Anri Ravinskis to a two-year, entry-level contract beginning in the 2025-26 season.
'Anri is a player our group has been watching closely this year in Finland and more recently at the World Hockey Championships in Sweden,' said Allvin. 'Finding European free agents like Anri is a good way for our organization to improve its depth. We like his size and body type and look forward to helping him refine his skills and get used to the North American pro game.'
Ravinskis, 22, spent his second season of pro hockey in Finland, splitting time between Kettera (Mestis) and HPK (Liiga).
He had 21 points (8 goals, 13 assists) in 23 Kettera games and added 17 points (8 goals, 9 assists) in 27 HPK games, also playing in three playoff games.
