Nobody is enjoying the St. Louis Blues’ postseason run more than Brett Hull.

The Blues legend addressed the fans at Enterprise Center ahead of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday night. The way he spoke slowly and joined in on the “Let’s go, Blues!” chant late left many viewers believing Hull was drunk.

Hull, 54, currently serves as an executive vice president for the Blues. He played for the team 1988-1998, during which time he led the league in goals scored three straight times and won a Hart Trophy. He is beloved in St. Louis and has been emotional throughout the team’s magical postseason run, during which the Blues won a Stanley Cup Final game for the first time in franchise history and are the closest they’ve ever been to winning a Stanley Cup.
