Caufield has had quite the season with the Canadiens. He is second in the league with 43 goals and has an additional 31 assists. He is also on a five-game point streak, picking up six goals and four assists.
Caufield has been a major reason for the Canadiens’ success this season. The Canadiens average the third-most goals per game with 3.5, and also lead the team with 208 shots on goal.
The team sits at third in the Atlantic Division with 86 points, with 13 games left in the season. The Habs had 91 points last season, and are looking to finish with 100 points in a season for the first time since 2016-17. They are also looking to win their first playoff series since 2020-21.
