Watch: Flyers tough guy gets into consecutive fights on same play

Things were getting intense between the Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators on Thursday night and they reached a boiling point during an insane sequence in the second period.

It was then that Flyers tough guy Nicolas Deslauriers got into consecutive fights during the same sequence on his way to the penalty box.

That is him fighting both Austin Watson and Mark Kastelic midway through the second period.

Deslauriers and Kastelic were both ejected from the game, while Deslauriers racked up 20 total penalty minutes during the sequence. That includes two five minute majors for fighting and the 10-minute game misconduct.

That all happened just a couple of minutes after Philadelphia's Joel Farabee and Ottawa's Alex DeBrincat dropped the gloves in a surprising fight between two unexpected players.

There was some actual hockey played between the teams, with the Senators holding a 3-1 lead after two periods.
