Watch: Golden Knights defenseman calls team ‘old’

Defenseman Nicolas Hague scored the game-winning goal in the Vegas Golden Knights‘ 6-2 victory against the Seattle Kraken at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday.

The win also happened to be the 12th time this season that the Golden Knights have rallied from an early deficit to come back and win.

Hague credits the team’s resilience and experience as one of the reasons why the team can rally so often.

“We’re a pretty old team,” Hague said. “Guys have been around. There’s lots of experience. Always say never too high, never too low, and I think our group does a really good job of that. Whether we’re up one or down one, we know we’re right in the game. There’s certainly no panic on our bench when we give up the first one. Not that we like doing that, but we know we can clean stuff up and normally find a way to fight back into the game.”
