Forward Keegan Kolesar scored a critical goal and added an assist in the Vegas Golden Knights’ 6-2 victory against the Seattle Kraken.
It marked new career-high goals for the forward, but he said his role hasn’t changed. Instead, he’s just scoring more often.
“I still bring the same game I have right from the start. Just the mentality of shooting more, getting more pucks in the net, and getting credit with more goals,” Kolesar said.
Kolesar has stepped up in a big way with the number of goals that left the Golden Knights in the offseason.
He said the game isn’t slowing down for him, but instead, he’s just trying to move his feet more and attack the net more frequently.
So far, it’s worked, and the Golden Knights can only hope it continues regularly for the remainder of the season.
