Watch: 'Green Men' make triumphant return to Canucks game

Who says you can't come home again? After eight long years, notorious rabble-rousers affectionately known as the "Green Men," made their triumphant return to Rogers Arena on Saturday to antagonize the Boston Bruins in the name of the Vancouver Canucks

The pair received a hero's welcome, with a spotlight guiding them to their familiar spot right next to the opposing team's penalty box.

Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for the two to return to their old ways as they taunted Bruins winger James van Riemsdyk six minutes into the first period.

Perhaps willed by the return of the team's unofficial mascots, the Cancucks scored on the ensuing powerplay thanks to Brock Boeser's tally at 1:34 of the extra session.

Sporting the best record in the NHL (38-16-6), the Canucks don't need an extra boost. However, every little bit counts for a franchise still searching for its first Stanley Cup.

It's still too early to call the "Green Men" a good luck charm, but the team is 1-0 since they returned.
