As the NHL trade deadline approaches in a few weeks, a few players remain available for Kent Hughes. Among the names recently mentioned, particularly by the excellent David Pagnotta, is forward Joel Armia.

This is something Pagnotta recently highlighted in one of his columns for The Fourth Period.

With this in mind, the next question is as follows:

What would the Montreal Canadiens receive in exchange for Joel Armia?

Former Canadiens scout Grant McCagg has just provided a concrete answer to this, and let's just say his response is surprising!

"It will be interesting to see what the Montreal Canadiens can get for Joel Armia at the NHL trade deadline," Stu Cowan opined. "He's been playing very good, consistent hockey."

And McCagg's response: "If he keeps it up I would think he fetches a second-round pick."

Interesting!

Do you also believe the Canadiens could secure a second-round pick in exchange for Joel Armia?

We must admit, he's been doing a solid job this season, far from a bad performance.

In addition to being versatile and effective across 200 feet, Armia has 18 points in 37 games despite limited ice time.

Would you trade Joel Armia for a second-round pick?
