The Minnesota Wild traded forward Reese Johnson to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday for future considerations, the team announced in a statement on social media.

Johnson only skated in three games for the Wild this season, averaging 9:31 of ice time. He didn't register a point in those games and had an even plus-minus. Johnson has 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists) in 49 games with the Iowa Wild this season. He spent the last four seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks and has played 144 NHL games.
