The Winnipeg Jets have unveiled a new anniversary logo that will debut for next season and will appear on all of the team's jerseys and likely on the ice.

The Winnipeg Jets revealed a new anniversary logo for the 2025-26 season, commemorating a milestone season in franchise history with a new appearance that fans can't wait to see on the ice.

It will mark 15 years since the team has come back to the city of Winnipeg, when the Atlanta Thrashers relocated to Manitoba in 2011.

The Jets also made waves off the ice last night at the NHL Entry Draft. The Jets drafted Sascha Boumedienne, who keeps turning heads.

The newly drafted Swedish defenceman was one of three 17-year-olds to wear a jersey in the NCAA last season, and the youngest player on the entire college hockey circuit.

Boumedienne had 13 points in 40 games for Boston University despite his tender age, as the Terriers went on to the NCAA Frozen Four Final.

Boumedienne's father also played in the NHL

Hockey is in Boumedienne's blood. His father played 17 professional seasons, including 47 NHL games with Washington, Tampa Bay, and New Jersey.

Now 18, Boumedienne has four years of North American hockey experience under his belt, including one year with the USHL's Youngstown Phantoms before making the leap to the NCAA.

He's transitioned smoothly to the North American game and has already shown himself equal to the task in high-pressure situations, a thing the Jets can only be grateful for in a young defenceman.

Boumedienne will be in Winnipeg on Monday for the club's development camp, accompanied by Swedish countryman and 2024 second-round selection Alfons Freij.

The two are also among Sweden's listings for the 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase.

Jets fans are eagerly anticipating the chance to see Boumedienne grow, and even more, to see their favorite team hit the ice with the new anniversary logo next season.
