Snoop Dogg has been one of Team USA's most vocal supporters in the Paris Olympics. After serving as one of the torchbearers in the opening ceremony, the rapper has been seen routinely supporting various Team USA athletes across swimming, judo, weightlifting and gymnastics events.
On Tuesday, NBC Sports released a video of Snoop receiving swimming lessons from 23-time gold medalist Michael Phelps. The clip began with Snoop asking Phelps how one could "get so fast in the pool," to which the Olympic legend replied, "wingspan and lung power."
In response, Snoop said he "definitely has great lung power," referencing his affinity for smoking marijuana. The two men then entered a small pool and got to work. When Snoop was short of breath after a short lap, Phelps asked him, "Swimming's tough, huh?"
Phelps looked a lot smoother swimming his laps, propelling praise from Snoop.
"Mike, you make this look too easy," the rapper said, before suggesting that the retired Phelps could still win Olympic gold medals if he really wished to. "He's still in gold medal condition," Snoop said of Phelps.

Phelps, 39, retired following the 2016 Rio Games where he captured an incredible five gold medals and one silver. His overall career tally of 28 Olympic medals (23 gold) makes him the most decorated Olympian of all time, with 10 more medals than Soviet Union's Larisa Latynina (18 medals, nine gold) and Norway's Marit Bjorgen (15 medals, eight gold).
He was recently voted the greatest athlete of the 21st century by ESPN.
