Former Chelsea star Tony Cascarino has cast doubt over Graham Potter's position as manager.
The Englishman is under heavy scrutiny after a series of poor results at the Stamford Bridge club.
Despite heavy summer and winter investment, Chelsea are midtable and have only won two of 13 matches.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the former Chelsea striker said: "I'm just not convinced that long term, he [Potter] will deliver the club's expectations.
"Because the basis of his style is very cautious and pragmatic, whatever word you want to use. They are not offensive, they are buying flair.
"[RB Leipzig and France star Christopher] Nkunku will come in the summer, who's another attacker, but he will play on the left, right or in a similar number 10 role. I just don't see everybody overachieving. I see there are more players underachieving at Chelsea at the moment."
