Stars-Oilers Game 4: Try on this +3023 same-game parlay

The Dallas Stars celebrate a goal by forward Jason Robertson (21). Perry Nelson-USA TODAY Sports

We're quickly running out of time to bet on playoff basketball and hockey, so we might as well make the most of it for these last few weeks. As the Edmonton Oilers get set to host the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night, let's put together a same-game parlay for Game 4 of the Western Conference Final.

Leg 1: Zach Hyman anytime goal scorer

Connor McDavid gets all the publicity for the Oilers, but Hyman has been a much more effective goal scorer in these playoffs. The 31-year-old leads Edmonton this year with 13 postseason goals, and he's scored at least one goal in nine of his 15 playoff games.

Hyman already has 13 shots on goal and two goals in this series through three games. He should be minus odds to score in Game 4, so we'll gladly add the plus-money price to our SGP.

Leg 2: Jason Robertson anytime goal scorer

Welcome to the playoffs, Jason! After going goal-less in 10 straight games, Robertson exploded for a hat trick in Game 3 to propel the Stars to a 2-1 series lead. That performance might be just what he needs to go on a scoring run. Robertson finally has his goal-scoring confidence back, and that should carry over to Game 4.

At +260, this is a great addition to the parlay.

Leg 3: Under 5.5 total goals

Although we like two goal scorer bets for Game 4, we're also interested in the under 5.5.

Jake Oettinger is playing out of his mind right now. The Dallas goaltender has stopped 119 of the last 127 shots he's faced (93.7 percent), and he's surrendering less than two goals per game on the road this postseason. The Stars scored five goals in Game 3, but they got there with only 22 shots. One of those goals was an empty-netter, as well.

Stuart Skinner can't play much worse than he did in Game 3, so we're expecting a bounce-back performance from the goaltender on Wednesday night.

Throw those three legs together, and you get a +3023 same-game Parlay on FanDuel. Let's cash!

In the news ...

Timberwolves avoid elimination against Mavericks — The Dallas Mavericks were one win away from sweeping the Minnesota Timberwolves and reaching the NBA Finals, but Anthony Edwards had other plans. Edwards put up 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists to lead Minnesota to a 105-100 win in Game 5. Karl Anthony-Towns also had his best game of the series with 25 points on 9/13 shooting. If you believe in the T-Wolves to make history, Minnesota is +450 to win the series.

Panthers even Eastern Conference Final with overtime win — For the third straight game, the Eastern Conference Final between the Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers went to overtime. The Rangers won the first two contests to go up, 2-1, in the series, but this was Florida's turn. Just over a minute into the OT period, Sam Reinhart clanked a shot off the post and into the net to tie the series at two. The Panthers are -142 favorites on the road in Game 5.

Bronny James makes final decision to remain in NBA draft — It's official. LeBron James' eldest son, Bronny, has decided to forgo his remaining college eligibility and enter the 2024 NBA Draft. The combo guard averaged just 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists as a freshman at USC, but he's an explosive athlete with impressive shooting touch. Unsurprisingly, the Los Angeles Lakers are huge favorites to select James in the draft at +160.

Quick Picks

1 Dallas Stars @ Edmonton Oilers

The Stars still aren't getting enough respect for how good they've been on the road. Dallas is 6-1 in away games this postseason, and Oettinger has given up just 1.7 goals per game in those contests. We'll take the better team at a plus-money price any day of the week. Give us the Stars' moneyline at +115.

Stars
+1.5 (-225) +115 > 5.5 (-124)
Oilers
-1 (+125) -135 < 5.5 (-122)
2 Chicago Cubs @ Milwaukee Brewers

The Cubs are becoming an auto-bet whenever Shota Imanaga is on the mound. The Japanese star has a 0.84 ERA and a 0.913 WHIP through nine starts, and he's coming off two straight scoreless appearances. The Brewers have the fourth-worst batting average (.214) and the 10th-worst OPS (.661) against lefties this season. We'll take the Cubbies -0.5 in the first five innings.

Cubs
-1 (-115) -142 > 7.5 (-114)
Brewers
+1.5 (-135) +130 < 7.5 (+100)
3 Bobby Witt Jr. over 1.5 total bases

Witt went 0-4 on Tuesday night to soil his 10-game hitting streak, but this is the perfect time to jump back on the bandwagon. In 13 career at-bats against Minnesota Twins starter Bailey Ober, Witt is batting .539 with two triples and a home run. He can cash this prop with one swing of the bat.

Latest Odds:  -125
4 Cal Raleigh under 0.5 hits

This is a brutal matchup for Raleigh. In 20 career plate appearances against Houston Astros starter Justin Verlander, Raleigh has just two hits to go along with seven strikeouts. The Seattle Mariners catcher is also ice cold with a .125 batting average over the last week. He's gone hitless in five of his last eight games, and this isn't the right matchup to end his slump.

Latest Odds:  +120
5 Alex Noren first-round leader

Let's have some fun with our last pick, shall we? Noren enters the RBC Canadian Open in impeccable form, as he has eight straight top-25 finishes and two top-10s in that span. He also ranks second on the PGA Tour this season in first-round scoring average. Noren should be able to take advantage of his morning tee time and contend for the early lead.

Latest Odds:  +4000
