Backing the bats to rack up some bases
Betting: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. over 1.5 total bases (-105 BetMGM)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. might be the hottest bat in the league at the moment. He is over this 1.5 total bases line in five of his last six games, logging 4+ TB each time. He has 2+ hits in every single one of those games and has a homer in four of them.
The Blue Jays slugger is heating up, and we need to ride the wave. Guerrero has a solid .333 average off today's pitcher Marcus Stroman in nine plate appearances, and he hits RHP better on the season. Load up Vladdy tonight, and feel free to ladder up his total bases prop if you'd like.
Betting: Freddie Freeman over 1.5 total bases (+118 Caesars)
This is a tremendous price on Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman. Freeman has 2+ total bases in four straight games and six of his last seven, and he absolutely loves facing off against San Francisco's Logan Webb.
In 33 plate appearances, Freeman is hitting .452 off Webb with 10 singles, three doubles and a homer. We'll gladly pair that history with Freeman's hitting streak.

Bronny James drafted by Lakers — As we all expected, the Los Angeles Lakers did indeed secure Bronny James in the draft, pairing him with his dad LeBron James. Whether or not he is able to contribute at the NBA level remains to be seen, but there's no denying it's a cool story that we have our first-ever father-son pairing on an NBA team. This would be a donation so please don't bet it, but we're obligated to share that Bronny James is 300-1 to win Rookie of the Year this coming season.
NHL draft is tonight — The NHL Draft begins tonight, and San Jose's top pick will be Macklin Celebrini, who won the Hobey Baker Award this past season at Boston University. After that, there are plenty of intriguing prospects at the top of the draft, and there are sure to be a bevy of trades later in the day from teams looking to add proven pieces right now. Expect a few teams to make deals that could impact the futures market. One such club is New Jersey, as the Devils have been rumored to be shopping the 10th overall pick for a solid forward. We grabbed their Stanley Cup odds at +1300 just in case a big trade jumps their price.
USMNT loses to Panama as -300 favorite — Panama is proving to be the U.S. Men's National Team's Achilles' heel. The team that ultimately kept them out of the World Cup back in 2018 has continued to give the U.S. trouble since, and it was Panama once again winning yesterday during the Copa America group play, 2-1, as +700 underdogs. The U.S. will look to rebound quickly to advance to the Round of 16, they'll need a win over Uruguay on Monday to help do it, and they're currently +150 to do so.
