In the news ...

MLB All-Stars announced — The All-Star rosters for both the American League and National League have been announced, with the MLB festivities scheduled for July 16 in Arlington, Texas. The Phillies are leading the way with seven players selected, and this year's group skews quite young, with 32 first-time All-Stars, a good sign for the next generation of players. The NL is headlined by pitcher Paul Skenes, while Detroit Tigers ace and presumptive AL Cy Young favorite Tarik Skubal will be starting for the AL.

Angel Reese sets WNBA record — Chicago's Angel Reese is having quite the rookie season, and she just set a WNBA record on Sunday, putting up her 13th consecutive double-double. That 13th straight performance broke the record previously held by Candace Parker, and Reese is at least making the Rookie of the Year a conversation in the WNBA, as Caitlin Clark has been a massive favorite for months. Clark still owns the scoring edge and is -390 to win the award, but if you wanted to join this Reese train, you can nab her at +250 to win Rookie of the Year.

Wimbledon continues on — The men's quarterfinals in Wimbledon are in full flight, with a few matchups already determined by the time this hits your inbox. You may be able to nab a live bet on Holger Rune right now if he's looking OK against Novak Djokovic, as Action Network's tennis experts liked the price on Rune at +280 prior to the 12:30 p.m. ET start. We've got plenty of women's Wimbledon action too, namely backing Danielle Collins this morning against Barbora Krejcikova. Be sure to hop over to our sports betting hub each morning, when the tennis action is gearing up to hit the grass.

Quick Picks

1 Cardinals-Nationals under 0.5 runs in first inning

We have quite the intersection of trends to support a NRFI bet in Washington this afternoon. First of all, both teams are among the worst first-inning scoring teams in the league. Washington is dead-last in first inning run rate, and St. Louis owns the sixth-worst rate. Then you consider that Nationals' starter Mitchell Parker is 11-4 to the NRFI, and St. Louis starter Miles Mikolas is 88-38 since 2019, and we've got us our favorite no run first inning bet today.

Latest Odds:  -105
2 Keider Montero over 3.5 Ks

Montero has hit this strikeout mark in all three games this season, a streak we'd like to back here despite the Guardians not being a team that typically strikes out often. Five of the last seven starting righties to see Cleveland have finished with 4+ Ks, so we'll load up Montero on this low line.

Latest Odds:  -125
3 Colorado Rockies @ Cincinnati Reds

We will gladly fade Ryan Feltner and the Rockies here, as the Colorado starter comes into this one with a 1-7 record thanks in no small part to his 5.60 ERA. Andrew Abbott has been steadier on the mound, and that's the difference for us. We're backing the Reds moneyline at -166.

Latest Odds:  -166
4 CJ Abrams over 1.5 total bases

Washington's Abrams has gone for 2+ total bases in three straight games and 10 of his last 15 games at home. He's also enjoyed some big games against the day's opposing starter Miles Mikolas. In four plate appearances, Abrams has two singles and a homer, so we'll load him up to continue having Mikolas's number.

Latest Odds:  -115
