Part of what has gotten the Indiana Pacers to the NBA Finals has been their ability to get contributions from a wide variety of players. Game 3’s 116-107 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder was Bennedict Mathurin’s turn as he scored a team-high 27 points in just 22 minutes played. The Indiana bench was productive as a whole, outscoring the Thunder’s reserves 49-18.
“This is the kind of team that we are," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said.
“We need everybody to be ready. It’s not always going to be exactly the same guys that are stepping up with scoring and stuff like that. But this is how we've got to do it.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Mathurin’s 27 points were the fourth-most by a player off the bench all-time in an NBA Finals. With that being said, can you name every player to score at least 20 off the bench in the NBA Finals?
Good luck!
