According to ESPN's Adam Schefter the San Francisco 49ers are sending a sixth-round draft pick to Washington for Robinson, who scored eight touchdowns in last season and is in the final season of his rookie contract. 

Robinson should slot in as one of the top back-ups for starter Christian McCaffrey, who is reportedly back to full health following a lost season in 2024.
