PWHL

The Boston Fleet announced Friday that forward Olivia Mobley has been placed on long-term injured reserve with an upper-body injury.

The team also announced that defender Olivia Zafuto has been signed to a standard player agreement.

Mobley, taken in the third round of the 2025 PWHL Draft, suffered the injury during the Olympic break. Through 10 games this season, the rookie forward has three goals and two assists for five points.

A native of St. Louis Park, Minn., Mobley spent five seasons playing college hockey with Quinnipiac University, Ohio State and the University of Minnesota-Duluth. In 171 career games, she recorded 62 goals and 77 assists for 139 points, averaging 0.81 points per game.

As for Zafuto, she’s been a member of the team for two seasons on the reserve player list. She made her Fleet debut in the regular-season opener against the Montreal Victoire. In 14 career PWHL games with the Fleet and New York Sirens, Zafuto has one assist and four penalty minutes.

She spent four seasons at Colgate University, where in 151 career NCAA games, she scored 33 goals and 71 assists for 104 points, averaging 0.69 points per game.

Boston comes out of the Olympic break with a 8-2-2-2 record and 30 points, ranked first in the PWHL standings. They have allowed the second-fewest goals in the league with 23 goals against and have a third-ranked plus-11 goal differential.

They will kick off the second half of the season with a five-game road trip, the first of which being Saturday when they head north of the border to face the Ottawa Charge.
