Basketball is a team game, but it's also a sport that judges its players by how much their wins more than any other. To that end, LeBron James can now add a new major achievement to his long list of accolades that shows how much he's influenced winning throughout his career.
Just three days after seeing his streak of double-digit scoring games snapped when he finished with just eight points in Toronto, James scored 29 points in a vintage performance while moving up an important all-time list.
He's now in sole possession of the second-most wins for an individual player in league history, passing Celtics legend Robert Parish.
The Los Angeles Lakers' 112-108 win over the 76ers gave James 1,015 wins for his career. This now places him only behind the same man whom he surpassed for the league's all-time scoring record, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who owns 1,074 wins.

"It's super humbling for sure, to be able to be in this position to be able to play the game that I love and still be able to do it at a high level," said a humble James to reporters at his locker on Sunday night.
After averaging only 14 points in his six games played, James' 29-point night stands as his best game of the season so far. He was 12-of-17 from the field and even 4-of-6 from long range to go along with seven rebounds and six assists.
James even went off in the final minutes to lock up the win, scoring 10-straight points.

But of course, more than regular-season wins, James wants to secure his fifth championship. And as far as where the 17-6 Lakers stand as a team, they are currently the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, only behind the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
Although no matter how much the Lakers win the rest of this season, James will have to return for a 24th season to have a shot at sitting at the top of the all-time wins list.
