No. 25 Miami (Ohio) just keeps finding ways to win basketball games.
On Tuesday, the RedHawks were nearly dealt their first loss of the season in a road contest against Kent State, but Miami fought back to force overtime and score its 20th straight win.
The RedHawks are one of three undefeated teams remaining alongside No. 1 Arizona and No. 7 Nebraska with a 20-0 record and an 8-0 mark in MAC play.
The RedHawks led by 14 at halftime of Tuesday's game against the Golden Flashes, but Kent State persevered and led by two with 13 seconds to play.
However, a back-breaking turnover gave Miami one final opportunity to tie the game in regulation, and Luke Skaljac made a game-tying layup with six seconds to play.
Kent State ran out of juice in the extra period, with Miami pulling out a dramatic 107-101 win. It's the second straight OT triumph for the RedHawks, who beat Buffalo 105-102 in overtime on Jan. 17.
