Four potential trade destinations for Eagles WR A.J. Brown

While there's no guarantee the Philadelphia Eagles will trade A.J. Brown, there's also no shortage of teams that could be interested in bringing in the star wide receiver. NFL teams can't officially make trades until the new league year begins on March 11, but they can begin negotiating before then.

Even though teams can always rely on receiver being a position with multiple players on the market and elite talent available in the draft, Brown would likely make the greatest impact on a new team.

Despite being disgruntled with his usage at times in 2025, Brown still produced his fourth straight season with over 1,000 yards. He caught 78 passes for 1,003 yards and scored seven touchdowns in 15 games.

These four teams should be interested in trading for Brown.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills have to be listed because they are in desperate need of a top-tier receiver and can't leave the offseason without upgrading the position.

After firing Sean McDermott following an early playoff exit, the Bills are now facing pressure to finally make the Super Bowl run that has alluded the franchise with Josh Allen.

When combining its needs and the pressure to make a move, Buffalo has to do something.

However, it's also possible Buffalo decides to just simply sign a veteran option like Mike Evans instead of having to give up a future first=round pick for a player still in his prime like Brown.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Like Buffalo, the Steelers have a clear need at wide receiver. They also will have about $45 million in salary-cap space, making adding a player like Brown even easier.

Pittsburgh is undoubtedly going to try to add a receiver to make DK Metcalf's life easier and boost an offense that ranked toward the bottom of the leaguer in yards per game. But are the Steelers willing to give up draft capital when the roster is far from championship-caliber overall?

In all likelihood, the Steelers will probably look to find a receiver at a lower price. If they do want to go big, Brown doesn't have the personal baggage Tyreek Hill would bring with him.

Cleveland Browns

For a team that can make a simple offer and give Eagles the first-round pick they are coveting, the Browns have two first-round picks (No. 6 and No. 24) in the upcoming NFL Draft.

If the Browns want to try to jumpstart the Shedeur Sanders era, assuming they keep sticking with him as the future under center, giving up one of their first-round picks for Brown might be the only way to make that happen. The Browns must put talent around Sanders if he's going to take the necessary steps, and they also have to find an offensive player who can change a game in the manner Myles Garrett can for the defense.

Baltimore Ravens

The third AFC North team on this list is the Ravens as they embark on a new chapter in their franchise without John Harbaugh at the helm.

Feeling like the window to make a run with Lamar Jackson is closing, Baltimore could be willing to package an active player with a couple of mid-round picks for Brown, feeling as if he would be the perfect weapon for a mobile quarterback with a cannon of an arm.

A.J. Brown may stay put

Knowing his ability and the fact they won a Super Bowl with him two years ago, the Eagles may decide to work on their relationship with Brown instead of a divorce that would hamper the team.
