Happy 36th birthday to one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history and (even in retirement) one of the league’s most recognizable characters – Rob Gronkowski!
Gronk won four Super Bowls with Tom Brady in his 11-year career, coming out of retirement to join the GOAT in Tampa Bay to win his final Lombardi Trophy in 2020. Now retired for good, Gronk is third in NFL history for touchdown receptions by a tight end with 92, sixth in receiving yards with 9,286 and 10th in receptions with 621.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. There have been 58 occasions in which a tight end has posted a 1,000-receiving yard season in NFL history. How many of the players to reach that milestone can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
