Aaron Rodgers has officially signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it looks like the veteran quarterback is wasting no time trying to establish a bond with his new teammates.
Rodgers and several other Steelers players took part in Cam Hayward's annual "Irons for Impact" golf outing, which raises money for the defensive lineman's charity, on Monday. A number of photos from the event were shared by the Steelers' community relations department, but there was one that had fans in Pittsburgh excited.
Rodgers rode in a golf cart with DK Metcalf, who is expected to be the Steelers' top wide receiver this season. The 41-year-old proudly posed with his arm around Metcalf.

The Steelers traded a second-round draft pick along with a pick swap to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Metcalf back in March. Rodgers had a private throwing session with Metcalf a month ago and spoke highly of the receiver.
Many people took Rodgers working out with Metcalf as a sign that the four-time NFL MVP planned to sign with the Steelers, and that may have been the case.
With George Pickens having been traded to the Dallas Cowboys, it will be crucial for Rodgers and Metcalf to establish strong chemistry on the field. Doing so off the field should get the duo off to a good start.
