Cowboys stars sound off on Micah Parsons situation

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott isn't worried about Micah Parsons' future with the team.

Never mind the battle that Parsons and team owner Jerry Jones have been waging over Parsons' long-term contract with Dallas, or lack thereof.

Never mind tweets like this:

Or moments like this:

No, Prescott doesn't believe the end has come in regards to the star pass-rusher's time with the Cowboys. He doesn't believe it, because he's seen how these types of negotiations have played out in the past.

In fact, he's been a part of them.

"I've got confidence," Prescott said on Monday, according to Todd Archer of ESPN. "I told y'all that way back when. And I'm just going off of experience, honestly. No different than mine. I've got confidence in that. Just hoping, which I know he is, that he's ready to play."

Trevon Diggs also shared his thoughts on the situation.

"I've heard him say before, he plays the game for us," Diggs said. "We go out there sweating, blood, sweat and tears. We work out together, training together. So it's really him being with us at the end of the day. I know for sure he wants to be out there with us.

"This is home. This is family. So why wouldn't he want to be here?"

One would think a long-term deal makes as much sense for the Cowboys as it does for Parsons, so this is truly a baffling standoff in Dallas.
