Jazz All-Star Donovan Mitchell avoids serious ankle injury vs. Pacers?

Fans of the Utah Jazz may be able to breathe a little easier heading into their weekends following a scary situation during Friday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers. 

In the game's third quarter, Utah All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell rolled his right ankle following an awkward landing and needed to be helped off the court and into the locker room: 

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports initial X-rays on the ankle were negative and that Mitchell will undergo an MRI later Friday night. Wojnarowski added the Jazz are optimistic Mitchell avoided a significant injury: 

Per ESPN stats, Mitchell leads the Jazz with 26.5 points per game and is second with a player efficiency rating of 21.52. Utah sits atop the Western Conference standings and improved to 42-14 with Friday's win over Indiana.
