Tom Brady didn't know some Eagles fans are still mad about Super Bowl LII post-game snub

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was the New England Patriots starting QB when he elected against shaking hands with then Philadelphia Eagles starter Nick Foles following Philadelphia's win over New England in Super Bowl LII. Brady again didn't greet the one-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player after Foles guided the Chicago Bears to a win over the seven-time champion signal-caller in the fall of 2020.

Brady and his current employer are preparing to host the Eagles for Sunday's wild-card playoff showdown, and the 44-year-old was asked Thursday if he was aware some Philadelphia fans are still annoyed he didn't congratulate Foles in person shortly after Super Bowl LII concluded.

"No. I'm not. I'm not," Brady said while chuckling, according to Jenna Laine of ESPN. "I've shaken Nick's hand plenty of times though. I've got a lot of respect for Nick."

Brady continued:

"I try to be a good sport as best as I can. I know it doesn't always look like that because sometimes I get a little pissed out there, but for the most part, I try to be a good sport."

The Eagles would love to give Brady another reason to storm off a sideline without first jogging toward the center of a field as the final seconds of a contest tick away, while the future Hall of Famer is attempting to lead the Buccaneers to a second consecutive championship and the third overall title in franchise history.
