The Oklahoma City Thunder have only had the services of Jalen Williams for 25 games so far this season and are still four games ahead of the Spurs for first place in the West. But the 24 year old Santa Clara product reminded Thunder fans how valuable he is in a victorious return to the court against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.
Williams scored a game-high 23 points on 6–of-17 shooting with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander nursing a knee injury en route to OKC’s 119-110 win over L.A. The win ended a two-game skid for the 41-13 Thunder, who are still in poll position for their second-consecutive one-seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Williams averaged a career-high 21.6 points-per-game as the team’s second option behind SGA. With that being said, how many of the second-leading scorers for every NBA champion since the NBA/ABA merger can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
