Report: Nets won't listen to James Harden trades at deadline

It seems like James Harden isn't going anywhere...not yet, at least.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday night that the Nets will not entertain trade offers for their superstar guard as next month's trade deadline approaches.

The declaration comes after a Tuesday story by Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer that reported Harden is frustrated with several aspects of playing for the Nets. Among other things, Harden reportedly is unhappy with Kyrie Irving's part-time playing status, Steve Nash's coaching, and life in Brooklyn.

Wojnarowski's report Wednesday claims Harden and the Nets have a strong relationship both in public and in private, and that the team believes its current trio of stars in Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving can be "unstoppable" when playing together.

Therein lies the issue of Brooklyn's recent struggles, however. Irving is currently only able to play in road games due to vaccine requirements in New York. Durant is expected to be out until February with an MCL sprain. Harden is dealing with injury issues himself, as he missed Wednesday's game with a sore hamstring.

Despite it all, Brooklyn still entered Wednesday in third place in the Eastern Conference. Harden has been the glue holding it together amid the turmoil — averaging 23 points, 8.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists per game — and according to Wojnarowski, that will continue to be the case.
