Bulls' Nikola Vucevic was in no mood to celebrate after ugly win vs. Wizards

The Chicago Bulls were 121-120 winners over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night, improving to 9-7 on the season. You would have never known they won the game if you listened to Nikola Vucevic give his post-game interview on the floor with the Bulls' TV broadcast.

Nikola Vucevic was in no mood to celebrate or joke around

As Vucevic was interviewed on the floor, several of his teammates tried to jump into the interview and celebrate, or at least get him to crack a smile, only to fail miserably as a visibly frustrated Vucevic absolutely shredded the team's performance.

Along with saying that the Bulls did nothing they had worked on before the game, he also called their performance soft and said nothing about what they are doing is sustainable. At one point, he almost walked away from the interview and looked increasingly frustrated with how the team played.

On one hand, it is okay to be happy with a win, even when it is an ugly win. But that sort of message might be what the Bulls need right now. They entered Saturday's game having lost six of their past eight games and were absolutely crushed by the Miami Heat in their most recent game.

On Saturday, they barely escaped with a one-point win at home against a Wizards team that entered the game with only one win on the season.

The Bulls got off to a strong start this season, but that strong start is quickly starting to be left in the rear-view mirror as the losses — and now ugly wins — continue to mount. They might need this sort of tough love to get back on track.
