Four-star TE recruit commits to Georgia

Jaden Reddell, a four-star tight end and the No. 3 tight end in the nation by 247Sports, committed to Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday.

"Just the production of tight ends they've had and the opportunity to go there and have a great shot to win a championship and be developed into an NFL tight end," Reddell said, via 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong.

"It feels like home and I feel like I want to be here and commit to them and stop talking to other schools and be a Bulldog."

Reddell chose Georgia over offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oklahoma, among others, according to 247Sports. He will join a 2024 recruiting class that ranks in at No. 1 in the country and features three 5-star recruits.

A recent streak of high-level recruiting classes can only add to the excellence Georgia football has shown over the past few years.

The Bulldogs' 2023 recruiting class is ranked No. 2 in the country. It only placed behind the Alabama Crimson Tide. Georgia took spots over Texas, Ohio State and Oklahoma in 247Sports's 2023 recruitment class rankings.

The 2023 class features 18 enrollees, eight players who signed their letters of intent and four transfers. Five 5-star commitments have enrolled with the program, including edge rusher Damon Wilson and linebacker Raylen Wilson.

Three four-star transfers will enter the program via the 2023 class. Former Texas A&M cornerback Smoke Bouie can help shore up the team's defense. Former Mississippi State receiver RaRa Thomas and former Missouri receiver Dominic Lovett can add to a receiver room that led the SEC with 4,437 receiving yards in 2022, according to SEC.com.

Should they continue to bring in high-level recruits year in and year out, Georgia will only add to their recent streak of National Championship wins over the past few years.
