Two youngsters in tennis, Carlos Alcaraz  and Jannik Sinner, have been sensations over the past couple of years. They have had many intense matches, been the headline for tennis, and made the years for many fans around the world.

Given the phenomenal performances these two younger players have showcased at such an early stage of their careers, one may even call them the next Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal of tennis.

The two GOATs of tennis have always had a love-hate relationship in the sport. They started their careers as on-court rivals and turned out to be good friends towards the end. Interestingly enough, even Alcaraz and Sinner are blossoming in the same way.

However, in their case, they are already somewhat friends and are constantly competing with each other for the top spot. Ranked at No. 2 and 3 respectively, their epic rivalry has flourished over the years.

Notably, the two legends have built their relationship with their careers by playing many head-to-head matches and competing for the top spot.

Similarly, the youngsters have also had some close encounters in their careers. Though they have played only a couple of games, they are already at the top, competing against established players. Moreover, they also have some aggressive strokeplay, maneuvering their shots from the baseline.

With powerful strokes and the ability to change the game in minutes, World No. 2 and 3 do share that quality with the two GOATs. That’s not all; much like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, these youngsters are giving tennis great Novak Djokovic a hard time staying at the top.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s flourishing rivalry so far, reminding fans about the FEDAL rivalry

Carlos Alcaraz won their first matchup, which was at the Paris Masters in 2021. However, Sinner soon came back in their next encounter at Wimbledon. Along with this, Sinner also beat the Spaniard again in Umag, coming from a set down to win the title. The two have always had a great relationship throughout the journey, sharing many smiles.

Like Federer and Nadal, these two are also building towards an epic rivalry to make the world excited for their matches. While Alcaraz has won 10 matches in a row in the desert, the Italian remains unbeaten throughout the year, having not dropped a set. Now, they will face off in the Indian Wells semi-finals.
