Watch: Mavericks' Maxi Kleber lights it up from deep vs. Clippers

The Mavericks couldn’t hit a shot in the first half of Game 5. Besides Maxi Kleber, that is.

Kleber hit four threes in the first half, three more than the rest of the Mavericks combined. The big man made all four in the second quarter as Dallas took a 10-point lead into halftime.

While Kleber was doing damage from the outside, shooting 4-of-6, all from behind the arc, the other Dallas big men were hurting the Clippers inside. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 10 first-half assists, and six of them led to dunks.

Getting scoring from their centers makes life much easier for Doncic and Irving, as the Mavericks have their eyes set on advancing to the second round.
