Watch: Cavaliers' Evan Mobley turns defense into offense in Game 2 vs. Celtics

The Boston Celtics dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers under the boards in a one-side Game 1 loss. However, on Thursday, the Cavs came out with a better effort, led by forward Evan Mobley.

Early in the third quarter of Game 2, Mobley showed Cleveland's more aggressive approach, rejecting Celtics star Jaylen Brown on one end before finishing off an alley-oop dunk on the other.

In Game 1, the Celtics out-rebounded the Cavaliers 55-38. Though without big man Jarrett Allen for a fifth-straight game, Mobley has helped Cleveland respond, winning the rebounding battle (35-25) heading into the fourth quarter of Game 2. Five Cavaliers players had four or more rebounds through three quarters, led by Mobley with nine.

Mobley would hit the bench late in the third quarter after picking up his fourth foul. However, nursing a nine-point lead, a buzzer-beater three by Donovan Mitchell gave the Cavaliers a 12-point advantage, 90-78, heading into the final stanza.
